Here’s How to Get the ‘Emily in Paris’ Wardrobe — Sustainably

No matter where exactly you stand on the spectrum that is the love-hate relationship we all have with the new show ‘Emily in Paris,’ you undoubtedly felt at least one little pang of envy while bingeing it all in one night. No, no, we don’t mean her succession of swoon-worthy love interests (valid thought, though), we’re talking about her impeccable wardrobe. The assorted berets! The skilfully mix-and-matched patterns and prints! The brand new designer bag for every new outfit! We couldn’t help but wonder... how does she do it? So, mostly as a service to you (and partly as a service to ourselves), we researched our favourite looks — and recreated them with pre-owned, organic or otherwise sustainable pieces only:

Graphic Puff

So, we don't all have access to a closet full of Off-White two piece puffer suits — but we do have a keyboard and an internet connection. And with that, we found sustainable alternatives that are just as graphic and just as puffy.

Pretty in Pink

Winter neutrals, who? Elevate your seasonal ‘blergh’ to an ‘ohhhh là là’ by dressing tip-to-toe pink — and in better materials or pre-owned pieces from the bottom up.

Name a more iconic duo, we’ll wait — and present you with these pre-owned, vegan and organic cotton alternatives while we’re at it.

Going Green

In palette AND in nature. A colour pop and mixing prints are major mood boosts — especially when made of better materials or bought pre-owned.

...before you buy all new prints! With a pattern as iconic as plaid, it’s always best to check (hehe) resale sites first and more sustainable materials second.
